Statuesque and dramatic! Standing 5' tall on our farm this year. Beautiful lavender and white flower heads emerge with grace from the light green woolly foliage. The scent is uplifting and used medicinally to treat anxiety and depression among other ailments. I love it most as a cut flower. Overwinter for blooms the following year. Really nice as a vertical accent in the garden or bouquet. A biennial or short-lived perennial. Not to be confused with salvia viridis, this is a larger plant with thicker stems, larger flowers and more impact. Plant with ‘Fama White’ Scabiosa and or ‘White Swan’ echinacea.
