From our family farm

We started in 1998 as a small farm selling organic produce and flowers at our local farmers market and over time we fell in love with seed production and grew the farm. Our team now focuses on growing 100+ varieties of certified organic seed each year!

Our Farm Journey

We (Sebastian and Kelly) first met working on a farm in New Mexico and many adventures, three amazing kids and several farms later, we're happy to have settled halfway between the Pacific Coast and the Cascade Mountains of Oregon. Our first farm was called 'Emma's Garden' (after our daughter) and later it became 'Chickadee Farm' (after some friends at work). Now we're excited to move our farm forward as 'Summertime Seed Co.' as we start to share seeds with farmers and gardeners everywhere!
