Bred by Glenn Downs at Sandhill Preservation Center when it was located in northern Idaho, Blacktail Mountain excels in both northern regions and hotter climates. We’ve found it to be an early producer around here and also wonderfully sweet. The large, round fruits weigh between 6-10 pounds. Delicious and easy to grow!
