Another tomato gifted to us from Alice Doyle of Log House Plants who is a legend in the Pacific Northwest for her knowledge of all things plants. This salad tomato was brought to her by a man claiming it was the earliest tomato and that it would beat Glacier in a ripening contest, which it did! That steward also maintained the strain by eating it for breakfast every morning in the summer and selecting plants for earliness, flavor and crack-resistance. It was one of our earliest producers despite being our last tomatoes we planted in the field this year. I thought it had a robust flavor and a nice firm texture. A smaller, semi-determinate plant with fruits 2-2.5" across.
