Sunflowers seem to bring joy to both children and adults like no other flower, and Soraya is no exception. A reliable, uniform, open-pollinated variety boasting many long branches with large 4–5-inch blooms. More orange than the classic gold. Excellent as a cut flower. The name 'Soraya' is Arabic with connotations of "starry night." Awarded the All-America Selection (AAS) in 2000, it was the first sunflower to earn this distinction.
