USDA Organic
Easy Grower
Pollinator Friendly
Sunflowers seem to bring joy to both children and adults like no other flower, and Soraya is no exception. This super reliable, uniform, open-pollinated variety boasts many long branches with large 4–5-inch blooms that are more orange than the classic gold. Excellent as a cut flower. While low pollen but high pollinator appeal, it invites bees, butterflies, and, eventually, birds that enjoy the mature seeds if left on the plant. The name “Soraya” is Arabic with connotations of "starry night." Awarded the All-America Selection (AAS) in 2000, it was the first sunflower to earn this distinction.
