Easy Grower
Pollinator Friendly
If I had to choose a favorite annual, this would be it (Pretty sure I said that about Cosmos as well!). Its moody gray tones blend beautifully with silvery pinks, whites, and reds, creating an ethereal scene that shifts between playful and serious. The petals look like they’ve been dusted with a silvery substance that gives them the ‘pearly‘ quality they are named for. Did you know mother of pearl refers to the hard substance that forms on the inside of certain shells like oysters and abalones? In large groupings, these blooms create a truly breathtaking display. Pollinators, especially bees, are drawn to them. Despite its ethereal beauty, this plant is surprisingly easy to grow. Perfect for both seasoned and new gardeners.
