I grow Phacelia essentially for its incredible pollinator appeal—no wonder it’s also known as “bee’s friend.” This fast-growing plant thrives even in poor soils, producing lovely light purple blooms that pollinators adore. When we grew a 300’ bed on our farm last year, it was so fun to walk along, watching all the bees and butterflies. Phacelia can also be used as a cover crop.
