Also known as Love-in-a-Mist. Such a pretty Nigella with various shades of grey- purple splashed on its white petals. The center of the flower is another striking color combination of bronze and purple. Nigella is used as a fresh cut flower and the seed pods are invaluable for dried flower work. Delft Blue has a larger bloom than other Nigella at 1.5-2” wide. The name refers to the world famous Delft pottery from the Netherlands. All Nigellas are easy to grow and work well in a pot. Used as a beneficial and a great choice for a vegetable garden.
