The Flower of the Year for me! This incredibly attractive species has loads of ruffled, bell-shaped flowers in the most extraordinary shade of pastel purple. The plant itself can grow to 6-7’ tall and flowers all the way up its attractive reddish stem. Unrelated to the classic foxglove, this species (Ceratotheca triloba) is native to SouthAfrica, loves heat and blooms in the late summer through fall. The definition of elegant. Cut flower and beautiful in the garden. Pollinator friendly as well.
