A standout flower with its rose pink petals and an unusual shade of purple in its “throat.” The stunning blooms brings unique color to the spring garden and create a vertical focal point that’s impossible to ignore. As a cut flower, Sugar Plum makes a bold impact in bouquets, offering both sophisticated color and wonderful height. Also, watching bumblebees disappear into its tubular blooms to reemerge is endlessly satisfying. Cutting back the plant after its initial flowering often encourages a second flush of smaller blooms.
