Barcelona Pink

I grew this variety of Dianthus for the first time this year and was very impressed by its performance. From a distance, it appears to be a monochromatic shade of pink and almost looks like a field of oversized geraniums! The bold pink color combines with the rich green leaves to really complement each other looking almost tropical in the heat. The large, prolific flowers are supported by perfectly straight, strong stems, making it an excellent choice for cutting. Long vase life as well. I will plant this in my home garden this year because I like it so much! This tender perennial thrives in zones 6-8 and does not require vernalization to flower, making it both reliable and versatile. I’m impressed by its beauty and ease of growth!
