These cucumbers are very productive and with their shorter vines,  well-suited for container gardening. Best picked at around 3 inches long, they don’t require peeling, don’t become bitter in the heat, and have a mild sweet flavor.  Like the lemon cucumber, I’ve always appreciated the unique advantage of harvesting non-green cucumbers—they stand out against the sea of green leaves, making them easier to actually see in the field! .
