While called “red” this is actually a mix of short red plants and slightly taller bi-colored blooms of dark red and gold. Its deeply satisfying shades of crimson and gold create a stunning visual impact. This resilient plant keeps blooming and blooming. Coreopsis is a showstopper in the garden or a meadow especially when planted en masse. A true heat lover, Coreopsis thrives in lean soils with low water requirements. Native to much of North, Central, and South America, it is pollinator-friendly, mostly deer-resistant, and pairs beautifully with Gaillardia, as both flourish in similar conditions. An easy plant to grow and love. Coreopsis is also a dye plant that produces a large range of colors depending on your dye method.
