Also known as Hummingbird Mint or Mexican Hyssop. Long-blooming and stunning en masse, the vibrant orange color reminds me of melons! With its trumpet-shaped blooms, it’s a magnet for hummingbirds as well as other pollinators. The small yet stunning flowers appear in summer and pair beautifully with late-season favorites like Rudbeckia, Zinnia, and Sunflowers. A perennial in warmer climates but performs as an annual in cooler regions. Its drought tolerance and easy nature make it a rewarding addition to any garden and it’s deer and rabbit resistant as well. This will look great in a container and is a great choice for both experienced gardeners and beginners.
